What is Rum Shop?
Rum Shop T.O. is a vibrant cocktail bar and event production service in Toronto, Ontario, where patrons can unwind and enjoy flavorful rum-based drinks. Our mission is to create a tropical oasis in the heart of the city, providing a unique experience for rum enthusiasts.
Rum Shop T.O. draws inspiration from the vibrant rum shops scattered across the beautiful island of Barbados. Contrary to the name, these establishments are more than just places to enjoy the golden spirit made from sugar cane; they serve as community hubs where people gather to eat, drink, and feel like part of a family. As a second-generation Barbadian Canadian, my visits to rum shops in Barbados evoked a sense of home. With Rum Shop T.O., I aim to recreate that feeling for Torontonians, Bajans, and everyone in between.
